Home Learning

In the event of a lockdown or a bubble closure, learning will be provided online over the platform Seesaw. Please follow the instructions below on how to login to Seesaw.

Home Learning Codes are an individualised QR code or Text Code that allow students to log into the Seesaw Class App or at at home while protecting students' privacy. Students can post to their journal, respond to activities, and view announcements. Students cannot see each other's work.

Home Learning Codes are different than Student Class Codes. Student Class Codes are for students to use when they are working in their classroom. Home Learning Codes are a secure way for students to log in from home.

To sign in with a Home Learning Code:

  1. Open the Seesaw class app.
  2. Tap 'I'm a Student.'
  3. Tap the blue 'Scan Code' button and scan the Home Learning Code or type in your Home Learning Text Code.

Your child would have already sent home a Home Learning Code to complete their homework. If you need another copy, please email

Expectations of Cordwalles Junior School

The class teacher will upload a register in the form of a video every morning. Work will be provided daily by the class teacher, including: an early morning task, an English lesson and task, a maths lesson and task and two afternoon lessons. It will be marked and feedback will be given by either the class teacher or a learning support assistant. The class teacher will be recording attendance of pupils and reporting any absences to the school.

Expectations of the pupils

It is expected that pupils respond to the register in the morning before 9am. They must complete both English and maths task before 1:30pm so that the class teacher can provide feedback daily. Both afternoon lessons need to be completed before 5pm.
